Del Rendon was a talented and regionally known musician and artist from Starkville, Mississippi who loved and embraced his community.

Known for selflessly giving his time and energy towards helping others, when he died on September 4th, 2005, he left a void that was and is still felt by all. Del's love for life and compassion for others touched many.

Desiring to embrace Del's love of art, music, and community, friends and family established the Del Rendon Foundation in 2006 and its goals have consistently remained the same. 

 

The Del Rendon Foundation, a 501C-3 public charity, raises funds in support of local and regional art and music activities. Establishing an MSU art scholarship that is currently endowed at $100K (and growing) the foundation is also seeking out other ways in which to channel its fundraising efforts.
